Components for centralized lubrication / grease lubrication
Central lubrication pumps / grease lubrication pumps
Lubricator TLSD
Single point lubricator type TLSD from the SKF SYSTEM 24
Small lubricator LTG
Small lubricator for 1 to 4 lubrication points for use with 400g cartridges
Small centralized lubrication X1
Standard grease lubricator for a small number of lubrication points or smaller line lengths
Large centralized lubrication X3
Large grease lubricator for larger quantities of lubricant or long line lengths
SKF / Lincoln P203
Centralized lubrication unit from SKF / Lincoln for many requirements in industry and for mobile machinery
Accessories for grease lubrication / centralized lubrication systems
Progressive distributor
Grease distributors or piston distributors that evenly distribute the grease from centralized lubrication pumps to many lubrication points.
High pressure fittings
High-pressure push-in fittings for the simple push-in connection of hoses or lines to grease lubrication systems.
High pressure line
Easy-to-lay lubricant lines or hoses for connecting the lubrication points to centralized lubrication systems.
Lubricating gears
Lubricating pinions or lubricating gears made of PU foam or natural felt for the lubrication of gears such as gear racks or gear rims.
High pressure filter
Filter or dirt strainer which is also suitable for grease lubrication applications due to its high-pressure suitability
Which of the centralized lubrication systems is the right one for me?
We would like to answer this question for you on the basis of a few points...
1. number of lubrication points:
Few lubrication points → X1
Many lubrication points → X3
Why?
The X1 centralized lubrication unit is equipped with a separate metering pump element for each lubrication point to be supplied. These pump elements can be selected with a very small metering volume. This makes it possible to implement classic lubrication tasks, such as the automatic lubrication of two bearing points on a shaft, the lubrication of four linear guides or the grease supply of a lubricating gear wheel, simply and cost-effectively.
However, if many lubrication points are to be automatically supplied with lubricant, the large X3 centralized lubrication system is the best choice. With a delivery volume of 2.8 cm³ per minute and a delivery pressure of 280 bar, large progressive distributors can be supplied for an extremely large number of lubrication points. The high working pressure also allows the construction of lubrication systems with grease distributors and sub-distributors… This means that large and extensive lubrication systems can be realized with minimum piping effort.
2. line lengths between lubricator and lubrication point:
Long cable lengths → X3
Short cable lengths → X1
Why?
The delivery pressure of the X3 centralized lubrication unit is simply much higher…
The X1 centralized lubrication unit delivers a normal NLGI 2 grease 4..5 m through the Ø4 mm high-pressure lines used as standard. For greater distances between the lubricator and the lubrication point, however, the more powerful X3 variant should be selected.
3. delivery rate:
Large delivery rate → X3
Small delivery rate → X1
Why?
Delivery rate X1
Maximum: 0.13 cm³ / min.
Minimum: 90 cm³ / year
Delivery rate X3
Maximum: 2.8 cm³ / min.
Minimum: depending on the number of lubrication points… From approx. 10 lubrication points, the smallest delivery quantity and uniformity of lubricant delivery is comparable with the X1 lubrication system…
