“Size 1” of the VAK stainless steel coolant hoses is the most common size in the field of metal coolant hoses. The connection threads between the individual elements are M14x1, and the nominal diameter—that is, the clear flow diameter within the flexible hoses—is approximately Ø5 to Ø6 mm (depending on the element). Fittings with a wide variety of thread types are available for connecting the metal coolant hose to your lathe, automatic lathe, milling center, or grinding machine.
